-       Videographers/Film editors
-       Dancers and singers
-       Choreographers

Write down findings and prepare for presentation (8th December)


12/12/2011

Begin Research on Copyright Laws. Contact Dancers/Singers for casting call.

19/12/2011

Get in touch with recording and sound engineers. Include brief of project and requirements.

02/01/2012

Contact Publishers for permission to use Music in public. E-mail film editor, with the brief and project requirements.

09/01/2012

Choose samples of songs and send to choreographer and sound engineers.

16/01/2012


Participate in SLR digital induction. Meet with sound engineer and oversee mash up of songs.

23/01/2012

Hold auditions for dancers / singers

13/02/2012

Send music so far and list of dancers to choreographer.

20/02/2012

Attend rehearsals and give feedback to sound engineers and film editor.

27/02/2012

Attend rehearsals. Begin finalising make-up designs. Acquire and research into costumes and props.


05/03/2012


Keep a video log of dance rehearsals and make-up trials. Meet with dancers and practice make-up looks and try costumes. Note down any alterations needed.




26/03/2012

Dress Rehearsals. Video the flash mob in the different chosen locations (from high-profile to low-key). Make note of the areas in which the flash mob was well received. Set up a meeting with film editor and go over footage so far. Eradicate any issues or problems.


09/04/2012

The Final Shoot. Video Flash mob in chosen location. Meet with film editor and start to cut and finalise video.


23/04/2012

Advertise the video via social networking, word of mouth etc. Upload final video to Youtube.com and website, so viewers can give relevant feedback. Taking the criticism into consideration apply adjustments where needed.




30/04/2012


Use final week as time to continue with any adjustments to perfect website and video. Record down progress with video. Complete any final editing to video/website and burn video to a disk. Write final major project evaluation, ready for submission.
